What is a GIF?

A GIF is a short animated image that plays in a loop. In comparison to a video, GIFs are much smaller files (faster to upload) that are more suitable for viewing over mobile connections. By now, you should know that adding visuals, like pictures and video, will increase post engagement by at least double…or more! It only makes good sense to take advantage of this exposure and jump on the bandwagon.
