For a while now, Facebook supported GIF links on personal accounts, but most businesses couldn’t share them on their Facebook page. That has changed and now, business Facebook Pages (including yours) can post GIF links that animate in posts making for some fun interaction with your audience! Who’s excited?!
What is a GIF?
A GIF is a short animated image that plays in a loop. In comparison to a video, GIFs are much smaller files (faster to upload) that are more suitable for viewing over mobile connections. By now, you should know that adding visuals, like pictures and video, will increase post engagement by at least double…or more! It only makes good sense to take advantage of this exposure and jump on the bandwagon.
